Project Description
Design and build bespoke media wall to the clients requirements
Client requirements: I have a client that asked me to look at a media wall for their living room. We sat down and went through the project and what was their requirement. From that I was able to came back with plans for how it could work and the electrics that would have to be added. The client had some further input relating how we could add some storage into the media wall. Once that was agreed we worked out a budget that they were happy to work with.
Solution: After sitting down with the client I was able to come up with a diagram to show how the media wall could work. By doing this we were able to plan the new electrics needed and where was the best place for the sockets. I would with the elctrician to plan out where the structure was and cupboards postioning which meant that the wiring and sockets would work the best. Once the electrics was sorted out I started work on building the frames and applying the MDF paneling. This gave a great finished effect when painted with undercoat and then top coat to the clients colour choice. At the same time as getting near the end we installed some LED lighting to go into the alcoves, as well as the electric flame effect fireplace and soundbar.
The client was very happy with the finished look and with the lighting on, flame effect fire and TV working it great a great homely feel to the livving room.
